We often wish for change in society and around us, but the question is, who will initiate it? Mahatma Gandhi used to say that if you want to see change in society, you must start with yourself. Keeping his ideology in mind, I decided to make a change. I may not be able to change the world alone, but I can start the change with myself.
Then I thought, why not involve my friends and start this change at an organizational level, rather than doing it alone?
Before trying to change others' lives, I want to acknowledge the person who has made a significant impact on my life and many other young people and women's lives, providing them with employment opportunities and empowerment - the late Rajiv Gandhi. His contributions, such as 33% reservation for women in politics, lowering the voting age from 21 to 18, and his work in the field of information technology, have empowered youth, women, and rural India through Panchayati Raj, and have fulfilled the aspirations of various sections of society.
Inspired by his vision and work, I have started the Rajiv Foundation to express my gratitude. Friends, let's prioritize national interest over personal gain and join hands to bring about this change. Let's lend a helping hand to each other, turn our thoughts into action, and take a step forward to build a strong and perfect nation, as envisioned by our great leaders.
Jai Hind, Jai Jagat
